Exclusive: U.S. Wasting More Taxpayers $$$ To Spend $400,000 For A Camel Sculpture In Pakistan

A camel staring at the eye of a needle would decorate a new American embassy — in a country where the average income yearly is $1,250.

The State Department is planning to spend $400,000 in taxpayer funds to buy a sculpture for the new American embassy being built in Islamabad, Pakistan, according to contracting records.

The work, by noted American artist John Baldessari, depicts a life-size white camel made of fiberglass staring in puzzlement at the eye of an oversize shiny needle — a not-so-subtle play on the New Testament phrase about the difficulty the wealthy have in entering the kingdom of heaven.
Officials explained the decision to purchase the piece of art, titled “Camel Contemplating Needle,” in a four-page document justifying a “sole source” procurement. “This artist’s product is uniquely qualified,” the document explains. “Public art which will be presented in the new embassy should reflect the values of a predominantly Islamist country,” it says. (Like the Bible, the Qur’an uses the metaphor of a camel passing through the eye of a needle.)
To emphasize Baldassari’s fame, the contracting officials pulled a section from Wikipedia. “John Anthony Baldessari (born June 17, 1931) is an American conceptual artist known for his work featuring found photography and appropriated images.”
In a statement, State Department press spokeswoman Christine Foushee said the proposed purchase comes from the department’s “Office of Art in Embassies.” In new construction projects, she said, a small part of the total funds, about 0.5%, is spent on art purchases.
Steven Beyer of Beyer Projects, the art dealer for the project, said the government reached out. “They approached us,” he said in a phone interview. “We were, of course, quite surprised.”
The $400,000 price tag “is actually a very a reduced price for this sculpture,” he said. “There is an art market that makes these prices, and this is one of the most prominent American artists.”
Another copy of “Camel Contemplating a Needle” is on display at Hall Wines in Napa Valley, Calif., and Beyer said that copy sold for far more then the State Department would pay.
He points out that while some Americans may find it frivolous for the government to pay for art, others will find it important. “It depends on what part of the public you are in,” he said. “If you go to the museum and enjoy art and are moved by it, things cost what they cost.”
To put the sculpture’s price tag into a local perspective, the average yearly income in impoverished Pakistan is about $1,250 per year, according to the Agency for International Development.

There have been countless attempts to debunk and discredit “FEMA Concentration Camps” as myths. For example, Popular Mechanics editor-in-chief James Meigs appeared on Glenn Beck’s FOX news program twice to debunk conspiracy theories regarding supposed “concentration camps” being built by the Federal Emergency Management Agency, claiming a satellite image of a FEMA concentration camp in Wyoming is actually a North Korean Forced Labor Camp. When the (Department of Homeland Security) accidentally placed these photos on a publicly accessible portion of their website ” they were pulled within one hour.” If DHS has nothing to hide, why not explain their mistake rather than try hiding it? Why try covering it up?

According to investigators, there over 800 prison camps in the United States, all fully operational and ready to receive prisoners. They are all staffed and even surrounded by full-time guards, but they are all empty. These camps are to be operated by FEMA (Federal Emergency Management Agency) should Martial Law need to be implemented in the United States and all it would take is a presidential signature on a proclamation and the attorney general’s signature on a warrant to which a list of names is attached. Ask yourself if you really want to be on Ashcroft’s list.



The Rex 84 Program was established on the reasoning that if a “mass exodus” of illegal aliens crossed the Mexican/US border, they would be quickly rounded up and detained in detention centers by FEMA. Rex 84 allowed many military bases to be closed down and to be turned into prisons.

Operation Cable Splicer and Garden Plot are the two sub programs which will be implemented once the Rex 84 program is initiated for its proper purpose. Garden Plot is the program to control the population. Cable Splicer is the program for an orderly takeover of the state and local governments by the federal government. FEMA is the executive arm of the coming police state and thus will head up all operations. The Presidential Executive Orders already listed on the Federal Register also are part of the legal framework for this operation.

The camps all have railroad facilities as well as roads leading to and from the detention facilities. Many also have an airport nearby. The majority of the camps can house a population of 20,000 prisoners. Currently, the largest of these facilities is just outside of Fairbanks, Alaska. The Alaskan facility is a massive mental health facility and can hold approximately 2 million people.

National Security Act of 1947 allows for the strategic relocation of industries, services, government and other essential economic activities, and to rationalize the requirements for manpower, resources and production facilities.

1950 Defense Production Act gives the President sweeping powers over all aspects of the economy.

Act of August 29, 1916 authorizes the Secretary of the Army, in time of war, to take possession of any transportation system for transporting troops, material, or any other purpose related to the emergency.

International Emergency Economic Powers Act enables the President to seize the property of a foreign country or national. These powers were transferred to FEMA in a sweeping consolidation in 1979.



Investigators also claim that there are 500,000 plastic air-tight coffins in the middle of Atlanta Georgia. Apparently the Government is expecting a Half Million people to die relatively soon, and the Atlanta Airport is a major airline traffic hub, probably the biggest in the country, which means Georgia is a prime base to conduct military operations and coordination. It is also the home of the CDC, the Center for Disease Control. I don’t want to alarm anyone, but usually you don’t buy 500,000 plastic coffins ‘just in case something happens,’ you buy them because you know something is going to happen. These air tight seal containers would be perfect to bury victims of plague or biological warfare in, wouldn’t they?

How quickly would Obama or a future president use the powers of Executive Order to hold Americans in actual camps in the event of future crisis – be it natural disaster, false flag terrorism, economic collapse, war or even some internal government power struggle?  Some presidents and/or dictators will do anything to hold on to power!

I’m  not telling you our government is expecting Martial Law, war or a half million people to die relatively soon. I don’t know. I am telling you to be skeptical of what our government tells you. They don’t exactly have a good track record for telling  the truth!

Yes, the U.S. Government did Conspire to have Martin Luther King Killed

America knowledge of U.S. Government was found guilty of murdering MLK Jr. in a 1999 civil trial.

On April 4, 1968, Martin Luther King Jr. was struck down by an assassin’s bullet as he stood on the balcony of his hotel room in Memphis, Tennessee, killing him instantly. King, a longtime civil rights advocate who marched for equal rights on behalf of blacks in America, had manage to make quite a few enemies in the process, namely certain divisions of the United States government.

In the days after King’s death, law enforcement worked frantically to find someone to blame for the incident, and ultimately settled on an escaped convict named James Earl Ray. Ray, a former U.S. Army Veteran who served in Germany at the close of WWII, had a history of criminal offenses, mostly for theft and robbery, which eventually landed him a twenty year prison sentence. In 1967, James Earl Ray escaped prison and found himself traveling to Memphis at the exact same time that King was assassinated.

Shortly after King’s death, James Earl Ray’s fingerprints were discovered on a rifle that was left on a sidewalk, just outside of a store near the scene of the shooting. The FBI, who had dogged Martin Luther King during his time as a civil rights leader by unlawfully tapping his phones, and sending him letters insisting that he kill himself, began an investigation into King’s death, and ultimately concluded that Ray had in fact killed King even though ballistics tests of the rifle recovered with Ray’s fingerprints came back inconclusive.


Never the less, an all-points bulletin was put out for James Earl Ray, who was apprehended two months later in London, and upon his extradition to the United States, was quickly forced into a plea agreement under threat that if he tried to take his case to trial, he would face the electric chair. James Earl Ray was then sentenced to 99 years in prison as a result, and although he would try 12 times over the course of his life to retract his guilty plea, none of his attempts were successful.

Over time, Ray managed to gain the support of those who felt as though he was used as a scapegoat to cover a governmental plot to finally get rid of King, namely Martin Luther King’s own children. Suspecting that King was the victim of governmental foul play, in 1997 Martin Luther King’s son Dexter met with Ray, and fully supported Ray’s attempts for retrial. Unfortunately, the next year, James Earl Ray died in prison at the age of 70.

However, determined to finally have the government held responsible for their father’s murder, Martin Luther King’s family pressed a lawsuit for damages through the Tennessee courts, and in 1999 a Memphis jury ruled that based on evidence presented by King’s family attorneys, a restaurant owner, as well as other governmental agencies, had in fact conspired to have Martin Luther King killed, and that James Earl Ray had not. Ultimately, concluding that an innocent man rotted to death in jail because of a governmental conspiracy to do away with a man who refused to tolerate being mistreated.

The victims of 9-11 are assured of a permanent place in the American history, memory and psychology. Mainly because so many were innocent. But also because the tragedy continues to be milked by the Powers That Be, using all the resources at their disposal to make sure we believe in a common enemy, and are willing to give up more and more of our rights and freedoms for a false sense of security and safety.
It enabled our Fearless Leaders to launch a multi-billion, probably a trillion dollar Police State. It enabled our politicians to spend and make enough money, with which they could have wiped out hunger and poverty, but rather choosing to spend it on an overpriced, inefficient, dysfunctional Department of Homeland Security, as well as arm practically every arm of law enforcement with enough firepower to wage war against their own people and kill every citizens 100 times over.
It is agreed that literally anything beamed over primetime television finds its way into the the American hearts, and minds, no matter if it be Keeping up with the Kardashians or Shamwow. In a similar way, the official version of 9-11 will continue to be propagated as long as it squats over primetime television programming. America responded by creating really kitsch memorabilia, bumper stickers, posters and paraphernalia. To quote Ken Layne at Wonkette,

On 911, nearly 3,000 people were horribly killed so that Rudy Giuliani could earn a hundred million dollars and run for president of 9/11 and the most corrupt administration in American History could wage endless war around the world and many working-class people could affix “United We Stand” bumper stickers to their SUVs, so they could drive around with pride while eating hamburgers off their laps and listening to talk radio wingnuts.
How did such a truly awful, gut-wrenching event inspire such stupid crap? It’s just part of our modern, idiotic culture — the same mouth-breathing instinct that compels people to pile a bunch of wet stinking stuffed animals at the site of a fatal car crash, or order a hundred Thug Life “memorial T-shirts” to remember some shithead gangsta teen who got himself shot, or make a GeoCities memorial site for Princess Diana (with animated GIFs and MIDI music of “Candle In The Wind”). Or, if you’re an entrepreneur, maybe you just manufacture some lighters in China with bas-relief images of the burning WTC towers and Osama bin Laden’s face, and when you open it, the thing will play “Für Elise” and little LEDs will blink in the “fire.”

More enterprising Americans jumpstarted charities to shamelessly profiteer from 9-11. Think of it as a cannibalistic frenzy of extreme capitalism.
As of now, 9/11 remembrance (the official version, of course) has mutated into some kind of pagan religion, right alongside Superbowl and Easter rabbits that lay eggs.And like any religion, it carries exclusivity. If you are not into remembering (the official version of) 9/11, you are with the terrorists. Efforts have been made to identify and document all categories of the victims of 9-11, from actual victims and families of victims to survivors and those that experienced the attacks firsthand.
Even the dogs that participated in the rescue effort have been recognised. Though it has been documented that rescue workers exposed to asbestos and dying of such exposure are being sidelined to prevent a barrage of financial claims.
For the record, the World Trade Center was once used in an advertisement by Asbestos® Ltd. But there is one category of 9/11 victims, perhaps the most deserving of recognition, that will continue to remain hidden from public view. These are the Americans who died as victims of the 9/11 cover-up, before, during and after 9/11. Unlike other victims of 9/11, these victims were not accidental heroes. It was their beliefs and their convictions that lead to their deaths. And in some cases, they knew the danger they were involved in.

Conclusion

Fortunately, there are still some credible 9/11 witnesses left alive. For example, William “Willy” Rodriguez is the hero who helped save hundreds of lives, and the last person to escape alive from the World Trade Center (WTC) Towers (before they collapsed — 20 people survived the collapse: 16 crawled to safety and four more were later rescued.) Rodriguez and a handful of co-workers who were down in the basement at the time of the attack, actually heard and felt huge explosions beneath their feet in the lower basement levels.

While this anomaly in itself should have been cause for serious investigation, it is the timing of these explosions that is extremely troubling: They occurred several seconds before the first airplane impacted the tower. The first of these explosions, which occurred about 7-8 seconds before the plane struck the tower was so powerful it literally threw Rodriguez upwards, clean off the floor, as parts of the false ceiling collapsed onto and around him. Rodriguez heard and felt at least three explosions going off down in the basement levels within seconds of each other.

Absolute pandemonium broke out, with screams of “Bombs! Bombs!” rising above the din as terrified workers scattered in all directions, frantically seeking ways to escape. Its absolutely inexcusable that accounts like this have been kept under the mainstream radar. Though they were reported, they go down in both the hearings and history as little more than a footnote. America (and by default, Western Societies) can be just as dangerous as dictatorships and  Middle Eastern monarchies, if you happen to be in the bad books of the Cabal. But at the same time, America is different from  dictatorships and Middle Eastern monarchies. People tend to dance along in denial….the show goes on. 9/11 Truthers will always be a minority.

It is unlikely that the Powers That Be will encounter resistance or overthrow. How did this come to be? Or rather, has it always been like this? A good starting point is to take into consideration how American society is sociologically different. If suppose a murder were to happen in a simplistic tribal society in some remote region of Afghanistan, the village elders would gather and within a day or two, and a decision would be made on either retribution or compensation, depending on what the victim(s) family wanted. In Western society, there are no village elders. And even if they are not rotting in retirement homes, their role in society is limited strictly to their economic potential (which they ironically accept). Members of Western society are usually incapable of organizing for the purpose of obtaining justice.

Instead, justice has been outsourced to institutions dominated by secret societies. In other words, providing justice is to the discretion of The Powers That Be. And rather than society, they get to determine whether or not a crime has occurred in the first place. This societal failure is not because of a massive cloak of deception. Rather, its because of an inherent and undocumented Darwinian belief system. Where members of society have little time or mindspace for what happens outside their little bubble. And where their top priority is worship of the NOW. Reciprocally, whoever controls the NOW controls them. The implications are dangerous for the remainder of the world. Suppose Osama Bin Laden never made the ill fated decision to move to Afghanistan. And instead moved to Orange County and invested in  banking and oil corporations. Would he too, like the Rothschilds and Rockefellers, get to use us for his wars? 9/11 Cover-up victim Hunter S. Thompson was quoted as saying “I’m afraid that we’re raising a generation of dancers” with reference to present day American youth. This statement was immortalized in a beautiful lyric by The Killers.

Residents of dictatorships can be conditioned to accept tyranny through fear and coercion.  On the other hand, Thompson’s “dancers” need no fear and coercion. They can be conditioned to delightfully “dance” for their Cabal. And in doing so, they even outdo the residents of dictatorships and thugocracies in subservience. And those that refuse to “dance” are regularly weeded out like the victims of the 9/11 cover-up.

New Report: Fortune 100 Companies Have Received a Whopping $1.2 Trillion in Corporate Welfare Recently

My Question is when are the American people going to realize our government has an agenda to get rid of 3 million people from this planet. People need to stop saying, "How can we fix this problem in American?" Dumb ass people piss me off, it's not a problem, it was planned out and created. Government plan was to not put money towards American and close down public assistance. you really think they have no money from taxes to pay for courts and DMV, schools, they have billions to pay for it. but their plan is working. make America suffer to the point of boarder suicide. our money is funding every country but its own. this is not a problem it's a plan.               

 

 

 

Most of us are aware that the government gives mountains of cash to powerful corporations in the form of tax breaks, grants, loans and subsidies--what some have called "corporate welfare." However, little has been revealed about exactly how much money Washington is forking over to mega businesses.

Until now.

A new venture called Open the Books, based in Illinois, was founded with a mission to bring transparency to how the federal budget is spent. And what they found is shocking: between 2000 and 2012, the top Fortune 100 companies received $1.2 trillion from the government. That doesn't include all the billions of dollars doled out to housing, auto and banking enterprises in 2008-2009, nor does it include ethanol subsidies to agribusiness or tax breaks for wind turbine makers. 

What Open the Book's forthcoming report does reveal is that the most valuable contracts between the government and private firms were for military procrument deals, including Lockheed Martin ($392 billion), General Dynamics ($170 billion), and United Technologies ($73 billion). 

After military contractors, $21.8 billion was granted out to corporate recipients in the form of direct subsidies; literally transfers of cash from the pockets of Americans to major corporations. The biggest winners were General Electric (GE) ($380 million), followed by General Motors (GM) ($370 million), Boeing (BA) ($264 million), ADM ($174 million) and United Technologies ($160 million). 

$8.5 billion in federally subsidized loans were also doled out to giant oil companies Chevron and Exxon Mobile, and $1 billion went directly to massive agri-business Archer Daniels Midland. 

Of course, the banks also got their piece of the pie: $10 billion in federal insurance went to Bank of America, Citigroup, Wells Fargo, JPMorgan Chase, not including any of the 2008 bailout money. Walmart enjoyed its share of federal insurance backing as well. 

Thanks to Open the Books, the curtain has been lifted and the whole country can now witness the great suckling of corporate America. As Open the Books founder Adam Andrzejewski put it: "Mitt Romney had it wrong: When it comes to the Fortune 100, it's 99%, not 47%, on some form of the government's gravy train."

This is what I think. 
The way to handle this problem is #1. Their is no need to hand out these credit cards in first place. #2. Is if your going to continue to issue these free personal money credit cards. They need to sign a contract. Any inappropriate purchases that do not comply with federal guidelines which are checked on a monthly audit,  the employee must pay back the amount before they receive their next pay check. Simple and better yet, the government should take out the amount they illegally used out of their next paycheck. This would stop them from making purchase they know they will have to pay for out of their next check. They gave the EPA 60 days to come up with a solution. Really our Government is the dumbest people on this planet.



Lack of oversight at the Environmental Protection Agency has led to employees using government-issued credit cards for inappropriate purchases such as gym memberships, restaurants, hotel stays, and gift cards, the latest inspector general's report found.

The government watchdog group looked at a sample of 80 transactions from fiscal year 2012 and found that almost 52 percent of them did not comply with federal guidelines, according to the EPA's Office of Inspector General in a report released March 4.

"Of $152,602 in transactions we sampled, we found $79,254 of prohibited, improper, and erroneous purchases were not detected," the report states.

The inspector general's office is putting the blame on the cardholders, as well as the EPA for failing to provide proper oversight over employees that are given government-issued credit cards.

The EPA's Contracts Management Manual lays out what government employees may use the credit cards for, as well as the approval process for making such purchases.

EPA employees are supposed to keep a log of all their purchases, obtain approval from the agency before making any purchase, and have a third party verify that the item purchased was received.

"We found a number of transactions where cardholders, approving officials, the purchase card team, and program offices were not providing oversight," the inspector general wrote.

Both the cardholder and the approving official are supposed to review each purchase to make sure it complies with EPA rules and regulations. However, it was found that "the approving official frequently did not provide the required oversight."

The federal agency had 1,370 active cardholders in 2012 making a total of $29 million in purchases.

This is not the first inspector general's report to reveal abuses by cardholders.

There were also credit-card abuse problems reported in 2011 — leading lawmakers to pass the Government Charge Card Abuse Prevention Act in 2012, requiring regular reviews of purchase-card programs to track any improper purchases.

The EPA has its own guidelines as well.

Alisha Johnson, EPA spokeswoman, said the agency has begun to take the appropriate steps to correct the problem, The Washington Post reports.

Steve Stockman, certifiable nutcase and Tea Party darling has threatened to have anyone who publishes his mug shot from 1977 arrested. So, we published his mug shot.

The Texas Representative conservative’s underdog Senate campaign on Monday published a defiant statement, claiming that Stockman has “grounds to file criminal complaints” against any person or media organization that published his 1977 arrest record and mugshot. Okay, Steve. Take your best shot.
Steve Stockman has never been taken seriously by either side of the aisle. Yet, the Tea Party loves him.  Infamous for his insane tweets (more on those in a minute) Stockman had his record expunged of a charge of felony possession of Valium, found in his underpants as he entered jail to serve a previous weekend sentence. Laughing yet?

“A Michigan official has removed documents from a state website that erroneously claimed U.S. Congressman Steve Stockman had been convicted of a crime in the 1970s,” Stockman spokesperson Donny Ferguson wrote on the campaign’s website. “Michigan’s 43rd Judicial District Clerk stated Stockman was never convicted of any charge and the documents were supposed to have been destroyed in 1978.”

Except, Steve Stockman himself has spoken publicly about the matter and published the photo himself.

Do you really want to be friends with this kind of guy?

Well, as the spotlight fades on Steve Stockman keep this in mind. He still has a few more months of service to give before his House seat is up for grabs. And if you didn’t pay attention to this bona fide lunatic before, you may just keep an eye on him now.

Steve Stockman from Texas is cut from the same cloth as many Tea Party candidates all across the country running for office in this year’s midterm elections.

In closing I’ll bring up the lack of attendance in Congress. The missed votes. The inability of his staff to tell anyone where he is/was and what he may be doing. Or how about the campaign contribution investigations and issues with the FEC for campaign finance irregularities and his campaign finance disclosures about his own income that have been incomplete and raise serious questions about how the congressman earned a living when not serving in public office.

But the Daily Beast may have said it best when it printed,

American politics has been rife with liars, crooks, and con artists ever since our country’s founding. But they invariably put in at least some effort to convince voters of their virtue and donors to cut a check. Steve Stockman is different. He has failed to give Texans even the modicum of respect required to actively scam them. Stockman just may be the lamest, laziest grifter in the history of the United States and his departure from public life can only improve the political discourse in our country.
