Steve Stockman Threatens To Arrest Anyone Who Publishes His Mugshot

SORRY, I DIDN'T GET THE MEMO "YOU WILL BE ARRESTED IF ANYONE PUBLISHES MY PHOTO".

Steve Stockman, certifiable nutcase and Tea Party darling has threatened to have anyone who publishes his mug shot from 1977 arrested. So, we published his mug shot.

Steve Stockman. So long, Farewell, Auf wiedersehen, Goodbye.

The Texas Representative conservative’s underdog Senate campaign on Monday published a defiant statement, claiming that Stockman has “grounds to file criminal complaints” against any person or media organization that published his 1977 arrest record and mugshot. Okay, Steve. Take your best shot.
Steve Stockman has never been taken seriously by either side of the aisle. Yet, the Tea Party loves him.  Infamous for his insane tweets (more on those in a minute) Stockman had his record expunged of a charge of felony possession of Valium, found in his underpants as he entered jail to serve a previous weekend sentence. Laughing yet?

“A Michigan official has removed documents from a state website that erroneously claimed U.S. Congressman Steve Stockman had been convicted of a crime in the 1970s,” Stockman spokesperson Donny Ferguson wrote on the campaign’s website. “Michigan’s 43rd Judicial District Clerk stated Stockman was never convicted of any charge and the documents were supposed to have been destroyed in 1978.”

Except, Steve Stockman himself has spoken publicly about the matter and published the photo himself.

The amazingly insane tweets and quotes of Steve Stockman.

Here are just a few. The list was literally too long to publish in this one article. Funny? Yes. Insane? Absolutely. Beyond that, be afraid. Be very afraid. The Tea Party has people like this all over the country running for office from local to national government seats. Why? They’re easy to manipulate and cheap to buy.

“If babies had guns, they wouldn’t be aborted.”
“Obamacare is less popular than chlamydia.”

On the Kinsey report which is used as the base standard for all sex research since its publication,

“This indicates that the basis of sex education in America is a study of the systematic molestation of children as young as four-months-old.”  “Our children have been taught that they are sexual from birth, that any type of sex is a valid outlet for their emotions. They are taught that the problem with sex is not that it is wrong to engage in homosexual, bestial, underage, or premarital sex, but that it is wrong to do so without protection.”

On filibuster reform,

“Give us Barabbas!”

A paraphrased quote by Steve Stockman said that the Clinton Administration staged the 1993 raid on the Branch Davidian compound near Waco, Tex., to convince Congress that it should ban assault weapons.

In the wake of the Sandy Hook Elementary School murders, his response was to introduce legislation repealing the gun free zones around schools, and for the same reason as the similar NRA blustering.

“The best thing about the Earth is if you poke holes in it oil and gas come out.”

He’s endorsed by Ted Nugent, who was his invited guest at a State of the Union address, and once was visited by the Secret Service because Nugent in the past has threatened to kill President Obama, Secretary of State Hillary Clinton and California Senators Dianne Feinstein and Barbara Boxer. Do you really want to be friends with this kind of guy?

“I was in Chicago and I said hey Obama, you might want to suck on one of these you punk; Obama, he’s a piece of shit, and I told him to suck on my machine gun,” Nugent screamed during a concert while brandishing two machine guns, “Then I was in New York and I said, ‘Hey Hillary you might want to ride one of these into the sunset you worthless bitch…. Then I was out in California and I thought, Barbara Boxer, she might want to suck on my machine gun, hey Dianne Feinstein ride one of these you worthless whore.”

Steve Stockman referred to Ted Nugent as a “patriot”.

The spotlight fades on Steve Stockman.

Well, as the spotlight fades on Steve Stockman keep this in mind. He still has a few more months of service to give before his House seat is up for grabs. And if you didn’t pay attention to this bona fide lunatic before, you may just keep an eye on him now.

Steve Stockman from Texas is cut from the same cloth as many Tea Party candidates all across the country running for office in this year’s midterm elections.

Have I forgotten anything to tell you about Steve Stockman?

In closing I’ll bring up the lack of attendance in Congress. The missed votes. The inability of his staff to tell anyone where he is/was and what he may be doing. Or how about the campaign contribution investigations and issues with the FEC for campaign finance irregularities and his campaign finance disclosures about his own income that have been incomplete and raise serious questions about how the congressman earned a living when not serving in public office.

But the Daily Beast may have said it best when it printed,

American politics has been rife with liars, crooks, and con artists ever since our country’s founding. But they invariably put in at least some effort to convince voters of their virtue and donors to cut a check. Steve Stockman is different. He has failed to give Texans even the modicum of respect required to actively scam them. Stockman just may be the lamest, laziest grifter in the history of the United States and his departure from public life can only improve the political discourse in our country.

Bye Steve. I feel like we barely knew you. But I think we knew enough. If your lawyers think they have a case against me for your mugshot or repeating the truth about you, feel free to leave a comment to the editor.
