"They got money for war, but can't feed the poor."

Despite President Obama's promise that "there will be no boots on the ground", he just announced the US will send thousands of troops back into Iraq for a new war that military advisors say will likely continue for years. The President has requested an additional $3.2 billion for the war, bringing the total cost to $40 billion/year--roughly 4 times the size of the bipartisan food stamp cuts recently signed into law.
