U.S. plans $11 billion sale of combat ships to Saudi Arabia

                  Why Am I not surprised?

Because  Obama has overseen the major increase in selling weapons since the first day in office.  Why stop now. "The volume of major deals concluded by the Obama administration in its first five years exceeds the amount approved by the Bush administration in its full eight years in office by nearly $30 Billion.
Saudi Arabia tops the list at $46 Billion in new weapons agreements this year. Last Year Saudi Arabia spent a record $80 Billion on weaponrymore than either Britain or France.

Let me see if I have this correct. The U.S. Government for the past two presidents (16 years) has been trying to take our rights away by passing laws making it illegal for a U.S. citizen owning any guns. All because once in a while a person kills ten people. At the same time Obama is saying, OMG Americans shouldn't have guns, but it's OK to go ahead and arm the whole God Dam Middle East, Persian Gulf, Saudi Arabia, ISIS, Syria,  Iran, by selling $76 Billion dollars worth of U.S. Military Guns, Rocket Launchers, Military Planes, Ships. Knowing because it's common sense, something our government will never have, It's all going to end up in the wrong hands. I just love watching the videos of seven year old's holding a rocket launcher being trained to use it back on us.

That also means that the Obama administration has approved more arms sales than any U.S. administration since World War II."

Don't forget "Operation Fast & Furious". The Obama administration records showed He gave the OK and along with Department of Justice, ATF, Border Patrol allowed selling guns across the boarder to the Mexican Drug Cartels. Who then  begin brutally gunning down and butchering their own people, police and elected officials. 35,000 dead in the past four years, 1400 dead in April last year alone, 15,000 killed last year.

Sorry America, I don't trust you owning a little .22 gun, but I do trust Mexican Drug Cartels to own a gun. They won't use them to kill people or brake the law.

Don't forget the only reason the whole thing "Blew" up in their face was The U.S. drug agents in Mexico were killed with the very weapons their government made available.

So much for keeping our Military secretes in the U.S. What I don't understand is, the U.S. Government spends billions on keeping how we build our military vehicles, and any info. from getting outside any government building. Including: How the Space Shuttle was made, how we build our War Planes, Aircraft Carriers, Missiles, Tanks.

Example: Take the U.S. Navy Spy plane that collided with a Chinese jet back in 2001. It made an emergency landing at a China airport. That 100 Million dollar U.S. Navy Spy plane loaded with sophisticated intelligence surveillance data was now in the hands of the enemy. The 21 man crew refused to exit the airplane when China Military showed up on the runway. Why? Because they were erasing all the data and disable all the equipment on board setting off mini explosions to damage everything in that plane.

Another example: We all remember this picture. U.S. Military Helicopter crashes at Osama Bin laden compound. As the team exited the helicopter they set off explosions in hopes of destroying the whole thing. But you can see half the copter is still seen. We blow our own shit up just to keep our way of building military vehicles a top secrete. But don't blink an eye selling our military vehicles to other counties knowing their going to end up in the wrong hands. Our enemy. Like I said our Government has no common sense.

Sorry, Now for the story you came to read about is below. Just had to get that off my chest.

It’s one step in a larger effort to build up Gulf Arab state military capabilities.

The Pentagon has notified Congress of its plan to sell up to four Littoral Combat Ships to Saudi Arabia for $11.25 billion, according to Bloomberg.

The planned sale of these small vessels, which are designed to operate in coastal waters, would begin to make good on President Obama’s promise to beef up the military capabilities of U.S. allies in the Middle East. The Gulf Cooperation Council–composed of Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, Qatar, Kuwait, Oman and the United Arab Emirates–agreed to support the Iran nuclear deal in August after U.S. officials sweetened the deal with offers of increased arms sales and assistance. In addition to the expected combat ship sale, the United States has been in talks with the GCC on other security guarantees and points of coordination.

Iran’s neighbors are concerned that the lifting of sanctions on the Islamic Republic would do little to impede Iran’s pursuit of nuclear weapons, while facilitating the modernization of its supply of conventional weapons. And as Gulf Arab states contend with threats from ISIS and sectarian violence spilling out from Syria, the Iran deal is only the cherry on top of a heap of reasons to buy up arms. Many American defense contractors are getting ready for a business boom as Arab countries spend record amounts on arms deals. Last year, Saudi Arabia spent a record $80 billion on weaponry–more than either Britain or France.

Congress now has an opportunity to block the sale.
