Donald Trump did not just defeat Hillary Clinton and the Democrats on November 8th. With his hard nosed conservative appointments to key posts, such as Steve Bannon, Jeff Sessions and Michael Flynn, Trump is signaling he is committed to burying the legacy of Barack Obama.
And reversing Obama’s disastrous immigration and refuge policies is job #1.
Well, Obama just struck back hard…but not against Trump.
What Obama just did was against the American people, who will suffer from his unthinkable action.
In an apparent move to cripple Trump’s efforts to end illegal immigration, Obama just shut down Federal surveillance of the Southern Border.
You heard right…unbelievable…
The U.S. Department of Homeland Security quietly shut down Operation Phalanx, an aerial surveillance program that intercepts tens of thousand of drug and illegal crossings along the Mexican border every year.
This comes right after Obama’s amnesty for thousands of Haitians, who he just allowed in from Tijuana, and DHS’ policy since the election to release all detainees claiming “refugee” or “asylum status.”
As a stunned Texas Governor Greg Abbott said today, Obama is doing everything he can to “open the border” for illegals…

As Watchdog reported, this move is so disastrous that even the top House Democrat in Homeland Security denounced it…
Rep. Henry Cuellar, D-Laredo, vows to challenge DHS’s move, saying Congress provided “full funding” for 2017. Cuellar, a member of the House Appropriations Committee and ranking Democrat on the Homeland Security Subcommittee, is drafting a letter to DHS Secretary Jeh Johnson protesting the shutdown.
Texas Gov. Greg Abbott and Cuellar challenged Johnson last February when DHS reduced Phalanx’s flight operations.
This time, Cuellar is seeking reinforcements from Sen. John Cornyn, R-Texas, and Reps. Mike McCaul, R-San Antonio, and John Carter, R-Round Rock.
With both parties outraged by the move — in this hyper-partisan environment no less — you can be sure Obama is putting the security of the American people at grave risk.
Just last December — aided by Phalanx — DHS captured two Pakistani terrorists at the border. And just yesterday, they caught 3 more.
In 2014, 300 Somali Al Queda terrorists were revealed to have crossed the border — and are still “at large,” according to Rep. McCaul.
And in addition to the potential for terrorist infiltration, thousands of Mexican cartel criminals and gang members cross the border every year, bringing in heroin and meth. And border crossing criminals are responsible for thousands of murders, rapes and DUI deaths of Americans every year.
And Barack Obama just made it easier for them all to come into the U.S., but closing our “eyes in the skies.”
This is treason, plain and simple.
